Here's what your dog is doing when you're out of the house

Hidden camera captures dog's defiance

A dog owner set up a surveillance camera on their own pet to test its obedience when left alone, with predictable and hilarious results.

The pooch was specifically told it is not allowed on the bed, so what did it do once the front door slammed shut? Leap upon it and after an exploratory sniff commence wriggling about like a mad thing.

The dog appears absolutely thrilled to be on the banned furnishings, unlike the cat in the video which seems to have taken its pillowy delights for granted.

The dog later shoos the cat away before stretching and deciding which part of the house to desecrate next.

In other devastating pet news, a study recently found that cats recognise their owners' voices but never evolved to care.
