Overreaction? KTLA news anchor Chris Schauble freaks out over minor earthquake in Los Angeles
"Earthquake! We're having an earthquake!!"

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake lightly wobbled Los Angeles this morning, but judging by the face of KTLA anchor Chris Schauble it was as though the mothership from Independence Day had just landed.

The tremor was fairly inconsequential as earthquakes go, with no reports of injuries or damage.
Schauble was for a few seconds gripped with fear however, suddenly shouting: "Earthquake! We're having an earthquake!" and ducking below his desk along with his co-anchor.
Consummate professionals, the pair popped back up after a few seconds, valiantly continuing the news segment after their brush with death.
Schauble saw the funny side of his overreaction, swiftly making a grab of it his Twitter profile picture.
The earthquake took place at 6:25 a.m. PDT at a depth of five miles and was felt over much of southern California, particularly in the Westside and the San Fernando Valley.
It hasn't been a good day for broadcast news reporters, with another suffering an embarrassing faceplant as he sprinted away from the camera following his sign-off.
