The Prime Minister is being urged to help stop whaling, days before crucial talks take place on lifting the global slaughter ban on the animals.

The call comes from Campaign Whale, which fears that an Irish bid to allow hunting within coastal waters up to 200 miles offshore threatens the survival of these creatures.
