Woman commuter stabbed on train
A 17-year-old youth has been charged with attempted murder over an attack on a 27-year-old woman on a Waterloo-Guildford train, British Transport Police said. The woman had been travelling alone on the train when she was attacked by a man who stabbed her in the head.
The attack was believed to have happened late on Monday evening as the train approached Clandon station in Surrey. A Surrey police spokesman said she was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital and then transferred to the National Hospital in London.
