Rescuers using dogs and sonar equipment called in earthmovers to help dig into a cake of toxic sludge in a hunt for bodies buried since a gold-mine dam burst in this Orange Free State town and killed at least 13, Reuter reports from Virginia. Forty-one people are unaccounted for since the dam burst on Tuesday. Rescuers believed more survivors would be found after taking refuge with family and friends.
