A Bosnian Serb soldier peers through the broken window of a car hit by mortar fire during fighting with Muslim forces near the central Bosnian town of Maglaj. Elsewhere in the region, Croatian and Muslim factions battled for a fourth day yesterday. Although supposedly allied against the Serbs, the tensions between the two factions have broken into open warfare.
