Lagos - Associates of Moshood Abiola, the presidential claimant whose detention has rocked Nigeria, said yesterday they believed the military government would drop treason charges against him when his trial resumes on Tuesday. Leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress said the government had agreed to withdraw prosecution of the case. Reuter
