Absent prince sentenced to 10 years

Phnom Penh - A Cambodian court found Prince Norodom Sirivudh, King Norodom Sihanouk's exiled half-brother, guilty of criminal conspiracy and illegal weapons possession and sentenced him in his absence to 10 years in jail. The nature of the alleged conspiracy was not spelled out but was said to have been committed last 26 October, when prosecutors said Prince Sirivudh threatened co-Premier Hun Sen. Reuter
