The ruling ANC has demanded that a painting be removed from an exhibition because it seems to depict President Jacob Zuma with his genitals hanging out.
Brett Murray's black, red and yellow acrylic, called The Spear and reminiscent of Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe portraits, depicts Mr Zuma in a suit and what could be a codpiece accentuating his genitals – though have argued Mr Zuma is exposing his genitals.
An ANC spokesman said the Johannesburg exhibition, named Hail to the Thief II, was an "abuse of freedom of artistic expression".
