Boko Haram: Suicide bomb attack kills at least nine in Cameroon

At least nine people have been killed and dozens more injured in a suspected Boko Haram suicide bomb attack in northern Cameroon.
The attack took place at the border town of Fotokol, which has been targeted by suicide bombers several times this year.
On 9 November a female teenage suicide bomber targeted a mosque during afternoon prayers, killing at least four and wounding dozens.
Boko Haram recently overtook Isis as the world's most deadly terrorist organisation, according to the Global Terrorism Index.
Earlier this year, the militants pledged allegiance to Isis and adopted the name "Islamic State's West Africa Province".
The Islamist group's name roughly translates to "Western education is forbidden".
Cameroon is contributing troops to a regional force to fight Boko Haram, whose six-year insurgency has left an estimated 20,000 people dead, according to Amnesty International.
