Egypt is the most likely source of a deadly E.coli outbreak that has killed 51 people in Europe, health authorities said.

The European Food Safety Authority traced infected fenugreek seeds to one shipment from Egypt and said contamination is likely to have happened before the seeds left the country. Other European countries are likely to have received batches of the infected seeds, the Authority warned.

Last week Egypt's ministry of agriculture said any suggestions of a link were "completely untrue".
