Two people have been killed in fighting between rival militias in Libya, the latest in a series of confrontations between armed groups of provisional government forces since the fall of Gaddafi.
According to local commanders, the fighting took place near Tripoli, and was sparked when one militia attempted to disarm members of another group who had set up roadblocks to harass motorists travelling through their territory.
