Footage has emerged showing gunmen in the opening moments of a siege on a Nairobi hotel, which killed at least 14 people.
Four militants were captured on CCTV as they stormed the DusitD2 complex in the Kenyan capital on Tuesday.
In a clip of the raid obtained by local media, men dressed in dark clothing and carrying firearms are seen to approach the hotel site.
Taking different routes into the building, two head inside, while the remaining pair hang behind, opening fire at an unknown target out of view.
Kenya’s president Uhuru Kenyatta said on Wednesday special forces had “eliminated” all of the militants who had attacked the complex during a 20-hour stand-off.
“The security operation at dusit complex is over, and all the terrorists eliminated,” he said, not elaborating on how many fighters had been involved in the attack.
“As of this moment, we can confirm that 14 innocent lives were lost through the hands of these murderous terrorists.”
Kenya’s national police chief, Joseph Boinnet, said the coordinated attack on the hotel began with an explosion in a car park outside a bank followed by a suicide bomber inside the hotel lobby.
Most of those killed are thought to have been dining in a restaurant on the complex at the time the assault took place.

At least 14 people have died, including one British and one American citizen. Two of the casualities have yet to be identified by hospital staff.
Al-Shabaab, an Islamist militant group based in Somali and backed by al-Qaeda, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Nairobi is a base for hundreds of diplomats, aid workers and businessmen in east Africa. The complex on which the hotel stands houses offices for multinational companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Dow Chemical and SAP.
