Demonstrators gathered outside a court in Tunis yesterday to denounce the treatment of a woman who was allegedly raped by police, and then accused of violating modesty laws.
The police officers denied wrongdoing, and claimed the 27-year-old was engaged in immoral behaviour with her fiancé when they stopped her.
