Bosnian security forces yesterday shot dead three men wanted for the abduction and murder of a British aid worker and the attempted murder of two other Britons, the country's Muslim-led government said, Reuter reports from Sarajevo.
The suspects, who were carrying forged foreign passports, were killed in a shootout at an army roadblock outside Sarajevo, after three other people were arrested in the central town of Zenica where the Britons were abducted and gunned down.
In the Serb-held area of Bosnia, the army high command announced it had made a series of decisions 'aimed at a mobilisation of the republic's available resources', which included a call-up of men and women to prepare for more fighting.
