New Delhi (Reuter) - The head of India's domestic carrier, Indian Airlines, resigned yesterday after a series of hijackings, a serious crash and staff unrest. The United News of India quoted the airline's chairman and managing director L Vasudev, as saying he did not believe that he could function effectively.
