At least 26 ethnic Albanians have been arrested during police raids in Serbia's Kosovo province over the past three days, the Belgrade- based independent news agency Beta reported.

The Democratic League of Kosovo, the mainstream party that champions the rights of majority Albanians in the Serbian-ruled region, said 35 people were held in raids on private homes, including members of the local Red Cross. The league, based in the Kosovo provincial capital Pristina, said well-armed police broke furniture and seized personal belongings in the raids. Reuters - Belgrade
