Algeria gunmen kill official

Islamic gunmen killed a member of the government's top advisory committee yesterday, the second senior figure to die in a wave of terror attacks on prominent targets, police said, AP reports from Algiers. Laadi Flici, a prominent doctor and a member of the 60-person Consultative Committee, was killed by a man pretending to be a patient, the police said.
