Algiers - Algerian Prime Minister Mokdad Sifi raised the prospect of negotiations with Islamic fundamentalists, warning that elections offered the only way out of the country's violent political crisis. Questioned in an interview on possible participation of the outlawed Islamic Salvation Front in talks between government and opposition groups, Mr Sifi said the best way out of the crisis was 'to bring together all forces which represent something in the country'.
