Muslims in Philadelphia are offering a $20,000 (£12,000) reward for information following a series of crimes committed by men wearing burkas to conceal their identities.

Islamic leaders are concerned the crimes could make Muslim women the targets of mistrust or even violence.

An organisation representing dozens of Muslim congregations is offering the reward following five bank robberies since December. And a man charged with a killing in a barber shop last week allegedly wore a burka to hide his face.
