A Chilean air force plane disappeared near the Juan Fernandez islands off Chile's Pacific coast on Friday with 21 people aboard, local media reported.

All aboard are presumed dead. A well-known TV presenter was aboard.

Neither government nor air force officials were immediately available for comment. REUTERS
