A copy of the 1938 edition of Action Comics No 1 sold yesterday for $1.5m on the auction website ComicConnect.com. It features Superman’s debut and originally sold for 10 cents. An issue in worse condition sold last month for $1m.

This one was found tucked inside another magazine. About 100 copies exist, and only a handful in good condition.
