Morries Hall: Friend in car with George Floyd will refuse to testify
He announced the decision in a filing last night
Morries Hall, a friend of George Floyd’s who was in the car with him at the moment of his arrest, told a Minneapolis court on Wednesday he will refuse to testify if he’s called to the witness stand in the murder trial of Derek Chauvin.
In a court filing on Wednesday night, Mr Hall announced his decision, citing the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
