Gunmen kill 12 police in Mexico
Gunmen have killed 12 police officers who were sent to search for the bodies of 10 people whose severed heads had been dumped outside a slaughterhouse.
The officers were attacked in Guerrero state on Sunday while they were searching for the bodies of seven men and three women. Police said the murders, which happened earlier that day, were linked to the La Familia drug cartel.
