Anti-UN rioting fuelled by cholera fears scaled down in northern Haiti on Wednesday, but a third demonstrator was killed in clashes.
In Cap-Haitien, UN peacekeepers opened fire, killing one demonstrator and wounding three others, after protesters threw rocks when the soldiers got out to push an armoured vehicle that had run into a trench that protesters had dug.
Florida health officials, meanwhile, confirmed a case of cholera in a woman who had visited Haiti.
