High-speed chase sees two men throw 17 bales of suspected marijuana out of window
The men are believed to have claimed that they had been offered $1,000 by a woman to transport the suspected drugs

This is the high-speed car chase that saw two suspected criminals launch bales of suspected marijuana from their SUV car windows as they were pursued by police on a freeway in Arizona.
The footage captured on the dascham of a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office patrol car on Wednesday appears to show the two suspects, Mario Perez-Paz, 43, and Juan Aguilar-Zaval, 21, discard 17 large green packages out of the vehicle during the 100 mph chase.
The incident saw police chase the silver SUV along the I-8 interstate near the town of Mesa, before following the vehicle through a university campus.
The suspects then attempted to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended by officers.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of drugs possession, smuggling charges, as well as unlawful flight. The men are believed to claim that they had been offered $1,000 by a woman in Phoenix to transport drugs.
On information given to them by the two suspects, Pinal County Police were able to find a drugs “stash house” where 374lbs of marijuana was found, alongside 20 illegal immigrants.
The bales of suspected marijuana thrown out of the vehicle have yet to be recovered and police expect they were picked up by driver’s travelling down the interstate.
