Man tries to jump New York subway tracks, fails spectacularly

Perhaps this man should have thought twice before trying to clear the subway tracks

Mind the gap is not one of the messages given below ground in the New York City subway. But a young man clearly could have used that advice recently.

Unfortunately, he did not make it. Fortunately, he did not get shocked on the subway's third rail, which provides power to the trains.

We searched other similar videos and turned up one that appears to show a skateboarder clearing a gap at the same subway station.
