A university professor pleaded not guilty yesterday to viewing child pornography on his laptop during a flight from Salt Lake City to Boston.

Grant Smith, from the University of Utah, was ordered to be held on $75,000 bail. Massachusetts police say Mr Smith, 47, was in first class on Saturday when another passenger saw images and emailed a relative who contacted law enforcement. AP
