NBC to make $350 million in ad revenue from the Super Bowl
A 30-second ad slot this year costs $4.5 million

NBC is set to make about $350 million just from advertising revenue from the Super Bowl, which starts in just a couple of hours.
Forbes reported that a 30-second slot this year cost advertisers $4.5 million, up about $500,000 from last year’s prices. It appears that companies weren’t too thrilled with the price increase, as NBC was still selling ads in January. Last year’s Super Bowl sold out its ads before the previous Thanksgiving (end of November).
This year’s Super Bowl will feature ads from a few newcomers, including Avocados of Mexico, cruise line Carnival and Loctite, which makes super glue, according to Forbes.
Keep an eye out for ads from Anheuser-Busch In Bev, which has been the highest roller in the last five Super Bowls, spending $152.5 million. Rounding out the top-five biggest spenders are Chrysler Group, PepsiCo, Hyundai and Volkswagen.
