Two guns thought to have been used by the bank-robbing fugitives Bonnie and Clyde fetched $210,000 (£135,000) at auction.

The Joplin Globe reported that an online bidder bought the weapons, believed to have been seized from the outlaw couple's Joplin hideout in 1933.

Up for sale were a .45-calibre Thompson sub-machine gun and an 1897 Winchester 12-gauge shotgun.
