A pressure cooker has caused alarm at an elementary school in South Florida.

Students and faculty were evacuated from Hialeah Elementary School after the cooker was discovered outside the kindergarten building.

A bomb squad later detonated the device and nothing appeared to be inside, WPLG reports.

Pressure cookers are known not only as devices that create delicious entrees, but they are also known to be made into improvised explosive devices.
