A woman jumped out of a second-floor window to escape a six-hour rape ordeal.
The 29-year-old woman was allegedly raped repeatedly by Michael Hosang at his house in Queens, New York.
The New York Police Department said she was also punched in the face multiple times, causing at least one facial fracture.
She escaped by jumping from a window on the second floor of the house at 224th Street and 130th Avenue, police said.
The 53-year-old suspect is said to have fled in a red Chevrolet pickup truck.
Mr Hosang was described as black, 53-years-old, approximately 5ft 10in, around 200lbs, and bald with brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a red Chevrolet pickup truck with a Florida license plate reading JZEY32.
