Same-sex marriage: Watch the White House light up for marriage equality
'The pride colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community'
The front of the White House has been lit with coloured lights to celebrate the Supreme Court's landmark ruling to allow same-sex marriage in all 50 states.
A White House spokesperson said the leaders of the US are committed to equal rights for all.
"Tonight, the White House was lit to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to progress and equality, here in America and around the world. The pride colours reflect the diversity of the LGBT community, and tonight, these colors celebrate a new chapter in the history of American civil rights."
