Shaun Weiss, who played hockey goalie Greg Goldberg in “The Mighty Ducks” films, has been arrested on charges of burglary and possessing methamphetamine.

Mr Weiss, 41, was found in a car parked inside the garage of a resident outside Marysville, California on Sunday morning. The homeowner called police when he noticed Mr Weiss rooting through his car.

According to Marysville police, Mr Weiss broke the car’s passenger side window to gain access. Officers said in a statement released by the department that Mr Weiss displayed signs that he had been under the influence of methamphetamine.

Sunday’s arrest wasn’t the first time the child star grappled with substance abuse issues.

In 2018, Mr Weiss was arrested in Oroville, California, for public intoxication. A police statement from the time said Mr Weiss was under the influence of drugs.

He was released shortly after by authorities.

Mr Weiss was featured in all three “Mighty Ducks” movies, as well as the movie “Heavyweights” and the TV shows “Charles in Charge,” “Boy Meets World,” “Freaks and Greeks,” “The Tony Danza Show,” and “The King of Queens.”
