These grandmas smoking weed for the first time are wonderful
'I feel like I'm smiling'
Apropos nada, a group of YouTube filmmakers found three grandmas who had never smoked marijuana and gave them an opportunity to try it for the first time, before furnishing them with snacks and Cards Against Humanity.
Unsurprisingly, the world didn't end and all three grandmas seemed to have a lovely time, first taking a couple of bong hits and playing Jenga before firing up a vaporizer and giggling their way through Cards Against Humanity.
"I feel like I'm smiling" says Dorothea at one point, as Paula adds: "I could go iron now for days, I love to iron."
The trio said they had never smoked pot because they were too busy raising children, but were keen to now it is legalised in their state of Washington.
Half an hour into their trip, Paula notes how "the muscles in my neck seem not as tight, it seems like there's a lot of benefits to it".
Dorothea, by now in hysterics, chimes in: "I totally lost track of what you were talking about. I really don't care if I understand!"
The video ends with the grandmas tucking into some Doritos, as the filmmakers claim "No grandmas were harmed in the making of this video".
Though it doesn't have an explicit message, the video seems to have been made in support of wider legalisation of the drug in the US, showing that it can have positive effects outside of the traditional stoner demographic.
