Truck driver Aguinaldo da Silva could be forgiven if he feels a little skittish the next time he crosses the the Chavantes bridge in Brazil.
The driver managed a miraculous escape after his vehicle skidded, crashed through a guardrail and was left dangling above the waters below.
The lucky Brazilian was left unharmed after the accident, which he said was caused when a vehicle stopped quickly in front of him.
Aguinaldo was helped out of the truck around 25 minutes later by passers-by who threw him a rope, reports local website Npdiario.
It's not clear from reports whether Aguinaldo intends to keep on trucking or is planning a career change following his brush with death.
