Paris attacks: US college student Nohemi Gonzalez named as victim

Nohemi Gonzales, a 23-year-old senior design major at California State University-Long Beach, was one of 17 students studying abroad at Strate College of Design in Sèvres, France. She was out with her fellow students at the popular bistro La Belle Equipe, one of the venues that was attacked on Friday, when she was shot and killed by terrorists.
Ms Gonzales was just one of 129 victims who died in the attacks.
Beatrez Gonzalez-Hernandez said that she was struggling to cope with the loss of he only daughter.
"I feel lost, sadness and she was my only daughter. She was a very strong young woman," she told news outlets on Saturday. "She had big decisions, when she went to do something she committed to whatever she was doing."

University President Jane Close Conoley offered his condolences on Saturday.
“I’m deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Long Beach State University student Nohemi Gonzalez. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this sad time,” he said.
“Our university stands with our nearly eighty foreign exchange students from France as they struggle with this tragedy. We will extend all support necessary to comfort them. We will also extend support to all students, faculty and staff who are in need.”
