‘Fox News Sucks!’: Armed Trump protestors turn on president’s favorite network in Arizona

Supporters of President Trump massed on Wednesday night outside of an election facility in Arizona and turned on Fox News, the president’s once-favourite network, chanting, “Fox News sucks!”
They were upset because Fox alongside AP called Arizona for Joe Biden on election night, long before other networks did so.
The raucous protestors, many of them armed, caused the ballot counting facility in Maricopa County to close to the public and the media overnight out of safety concerns.
The president and Fox News have long enjoyed a symbiotic relationship, but things have slowly began deteriorated between the two, with Mr Trump complaining that the network displayed damaging polls and didn’t do enough to help elect Republicans.
The president and his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner reportedly lobbied the network’s owner, Rupert Murdoch, behind the scenes to reverse the Arizona election prediction.
Supporters of the president protested at vote-counting sites around the country, including in Detroit, where a crowd tried to storm into a convention center and banged on windows.
The president has been priming his supporters for month to angrily challenge the election results, spreading numerous false claims about election security and encouraging an “army” of poll watchers.
He hasn’t let up since the election either, prematurely declaring himself the victor, demanding the Supreme Court stop the vote, and dispatching top campaign lieutenants to states like Pennsylvania to launch lawsuits on unfounded claims of voter fraud.
