Donald Trump booed as he walks into his hometown polling station to vote for himself
The boos overpowered the support in video posted to social media
Crowds of protesters patiently awaited Donald Trump’s arrival outside his Midtown Manhattan polling place, only to let out a barrage of boos while he arrived.
Mr Trump cast his ballot late Tuesday morning at a public school near Trump Tower. He arrived with his wife, Melania, daughter, Ivanka, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to the welcome of some supporters. Still, the jeers of the protesters dominated cheers.

New York comedian Harrison Greenbaum posted video to Twitter that showed the booing as the Republican nominee entered PS 56. The booing only grew stronger as the candidate left the polling station minutes later.
The polling station was already met with boisterous protesters earlier in the morning. Secret Service escorted two topless female protestors from the premises as they chanted “Grab your balls, off my boobs” to the befuddlement of bystanders.
Protesters have staged demonstrations outside of Trump Tower on a regular basis as Election Day inched closer. Now that it is here, Mr Trump’s security has built a wall of garbage trucks around the skyscraper.
