Fans of the Obama-Biden bromance are rejoicing.
A video of Barack Obama and Joe Biden reunited for lunch at a bakery in Washington has surfaced – much to the excitement of their supporters.
The former president and vice president were seen earlier this week at Dog Tag Bakery, a part of Dog Tag Inc, which supports service-disabled veterans, military spouses and caregivers, according to its website.
“Look who stopped by Dog Tag Bakery today!” a post by the bakery published to Facebook read. “Barack Obama and Joe Biden surprised us at lunch today and took some time to chat with our Fellows. Thank you for supporting our mission to empower service-disabled veterans, military spouses, and caregivers!”
A video posted to the bakery’s Facebook page, featured Mr Obama and Mr Biden deciding what to eat, has been viewed more than 100,000 times.
Many have taken to Twitter to express excitement over seeing the longtime friends reunite in public.
“The feel good story we need today!” one Twitter user wrote.
“I hope the picture of Biden and Obama stays trending because I miss their bromance,” said another on Twitter.
In a longer video published to YouTube, the pair can be seen talking to Dog Tag Inc. fellows, expressing appreciation for the organisation’s service.
“We so appreciate you guys,” Mr Obama said.
Mr Obama and Mr Biden often sparked an array of memes and humorous comments published online about their perceived “bromance” while they served in the White House.
In the much-admired video of their lunch meeting, the former president asked Mr Biden what he chose for lunch before adding, “I think I have to have one of those too.”
