Venezuelan government admits doubts over embalming of Hugo Chavez

 

It may not be possible to embalm the remains of Hugo Chavez as planned because it could be too late to start the process, the government has admitted.

The government had said it planned to embalm the late President’s remains “for eternity”. But after being advised by Russian and German scientists, Venezuela’s acting President Nicolas Maduro said: “They tell us it’s very difficult because the process should have started earlier.”
