This heartwarming video of a 101-year-old woman playing in the snow is making everyone's day.

101-year-old Albina Foisy was filmed enjoying the heavy snowfall by her son Armand in Lillooet, British Columbia, Canada.

Albina can be seen saying “it’s fun playing in the snow”, making a snowball and then tossing it at a traffic sign before exclaiming “Missed it!”

Viewers have commented beneath the clip about how much they enjoyed watching it. One wrote that it 'Brings tears of joy to my eyes', while another labelled it 'My all time favorite video!!!'

Armand accompanied the post by writing 'Here's proof that if you find pure joy in the simple things you can live a 100 years.'

Armand told CBC News that the video represents his mother perfectly, saying "She's a very happy, a very joyous person. She does not feel that 101 is any detriment to anything."

Another video was posted by Armand of Albina reacting to seeing her self on the news.

When asked about her reaction to the video's popularity, Armand said: "To say that she is absolutely thrilled and amazed is a total understatement."
