Amateur footage has captured the chaos caused after a fire broke out in a nightclub in Brazil.

Fire crews and clubbers are seen rescuing people from the blaze which has left at least 232 people dead.

According to witnesses, the fire broke out after a flare was thrown from the stage and quickly spread.
