This is the explosive moment a train hit a truck in Midland County, Texas, sending metal pipes flying through the air.
The force of the impact carried the truck at least hallf a mile down the track before the train managed to stop. The truck driver had already left the vehicle when it was hit and was unhurt. A crossing barrier was damaged in the incident and nearly 380 litres of Disel fuel was split.
The driver reportedly told the authorities that he had parked on the tracks to give way to others traffic on the road when the truck broke down.
