Perugia - Former Italian prime minister Giulio Andreotti defended himself before a judge who was deciding whether to indict him for complicity in the murder of a journalist in 1979. He is accused of complicity in the shooting of Mino Pecorelli, outside the Rome offices of Ope magazine, which was about to publish an article on the Christian Democrats' financing. Reuter
