The Angolan rebel movement, Unita, insisted yesterday it had agreed a ceasefire with the government, but the Luanda government said more than two weeks of talks in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, had not produced any agreement, Reuter reports from Lusaka. Diplomats close to the talks said they were puzzled by the government's denial of an agreement. 'All issues pertaining to the ceasefire proper, minus the political questions which will be discussed later, were agreed upon first on Friday and then ratified on Saturday,' a Western diplomat said.
