HAMBURG (AFP) - Some 450,000 people took part in two anti-racist events in German cities. In Hamburg bells from 250 churches rang out as 300,000 people lit candles and formed a human chain.
In Frankfurt, some 150,000 rock fans attended a free televised concert where 28 bands performed for three hours under the banner 'Today them, tomorrow you', in a reference to the victims of racist hatred.
