Arafat's fears over Hebron deal

Gaza City - Yasser Arafat, head of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, warned that several obstacles still blocked an agreement to spread autonomy across the West Bank as he returned to negotiations. "There are still many obstacles to which we have not found an answer," he told reporters before heading to Taba, Egypt, for more talks with Israel's Foreign Minister, Shimon Peres. "Hebron is the main obstacle in the negotiations, but it is not the only one," Mr Arafat said. AFP
