A Chinese band have really thrown down the gauntlet for musicians when it comes to spine-tingling performances.

Lightningfan, a ten-piece band, perform on Tesla coils which generates huge bolts of electricity and looks visually stunning. The band play in ferroalloy metal suits in order to avoid being electrocuted in the process.

Engineer and guitarist Wang Hongbin started the band after making his first Tesla coil at his home in the Fuijan province in China.
