A court in Hyderabad has ordered the arrest of the owner of Kingfisher Airlines for writing bad cheques for more than £1.2m.
Vijay Mallya, famous for his flashy lifestyle and lavish parties attended by models, Bollywood stars and cricketers, is alleged to have written the cheques to cover his struggling airline's operating fees.
Kingfisher's pilots and engineers have not been paid for months.
